At a local venue, Kaffe-Mik will be served – an old Greenland tradition of inviting guests to your home for celebrations such as weddings and birthdays. Refreshments include coffee, tea and Greenlandic cake. The NIPE choir, dressed in Greenlandic national costume, will entertain us with a few melodic Greenlandic songs. The songs from this small group are explained with content and meaning.
The walk to and from the venue takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, over some sloping but even ground. Transport can be provided for those with walking difficulties, but is not included for all (please request this once onboard).
